    The development is located on A38 and consists of 5 retail units, anchored by a Co-op convenience store together with a shared car park.

    The local centre was fully let by ARC and subsequently sold for £1,935,000 to a private purchaser, achieving a net initial yield of 7.8%.

    ARC Retail & Leisure is retained to assist Cash Access UK with securing Banking Hub sites across the South West and South Wales as part of their nationwide acquisition programme. 

    Cash Access UK is a not-for-profit company funded by major high street banks, providing cash and basic banking services in communities across the UK. 

    ARC has recently secured sites in Dartmouth, Morriston, Calne, Bodmin, Abertillery, Frome, Dawlish and Westbury with a further 12+ sites in advanced discussions / legals.

    On behalf of Somerset Council, ARC Retail & Leisure have sold the freehold interest in this new-build, mixed-use development on behalf of Somerset Council. 

    Completed in November 2022, Riverside at Coal Orchard consists of 40 residential apartments and 18,000 square feet of commercial space.

    Situated in the town centre of Taunton, this riverside development boasts views of the River Tone, near a public car park, and is conveniently located near The Brewhouse Theatre and Arts Centre, complemented by Somerset’s iconic cricket ground.

    The sale process attracted considerable interest, with multiple offers received following a call for best bids and completion took place for an undisclosed sum.

    Bosco looking for further sites in 2025....

    Following Bosco's successful recent openings in Bath and Cheltenham, ARC is retained to secure additional sites in 2025.  Bosco are now trading from 4 locations and have also introduced a fresh new concept Pizzucci which opened @ The Promenade, Bristol in 2024.
     

    Bosco are looking for 3,500 sq ft whilst Pizzucci can trade from between 1,000 - 1,500 sq ft with external seating.

    ARC Retail & Leisure and delighted to have acted for Sofab Sports who are now open and have gotten off to a flying start....

    They are a social enterprise that has no government funding and was founded by Dale in 2014 when he was just 16 !!! An integral goal of Sofab is to provide training and employment opportunities for individuals overcoming various hardships in their lives. These guys really are adding back to the community.

    Just to remind people that this is a social enterprise and Sofab offer a broad range of NBA Jerseys plus a huge selection of football, american football, rugby and golf shirts. If you are in Broadmead please pop in and say hello to the great friendly staff. They are located at 30-32 Broadmead next door to Select (opposite Costa).

    ARC Retail & Leisure has acted as sole agent on Beacon Tower since the end of 2021, advising AEW on all retail, restaurant and leisure lettings.

    Beacon Tower is a landmark 15 storey office building in central Bristol, totalling over 90,000 sq ft. Underneath the offices is approximately 20,000 sq ft of retail, restaurant and leisure floorspace, adjacent to the transformed Bristol Beacon concert hall & music venue. Following surrenders, regears and completion of landlord’s works to create well configured space, ARC successfully let 11,403 sq ft to award winning boutique gym operator, Luxe Fitness on a new 15 year lease at a rent of £125,000pax with annual indexation. One of the co-founders of Luxe Fitness is Olympian, Allyn Condon, who competed for Team GB at Sydney 2000 and Vancouver 2010 games. Luxe Fitness opened in January 2023. Other lettings were concluded to Smile 2 Impress, an international dentistry business and Bambalan, a vibrant Mediterranean restaurant and bar with the best outside terrace in Bristol.

    One of the longest deals in Loungers history has completed in Yeovil

    On behalf of overseas investors, ARC Retail & Leisure is pleased to announce the lease of former banking premises on the High Street in Yeovil has finally crossed the line.

    This corner building, comprising 11,169 sq ft over five floors, was originally let in its entirety to TSB Bank with part of the ground and first floors sub-let to Caffe Nero. It was a complex transaction involving two surrenders, two AFLs, a dilapidations claim as well as planning and licensing applications. Terms were agreed and solicitors instructed in January 2021. Barolo Lounge opened on 10th April 2024.
